Basic Freestanding Benches

B12 Basic freestanding cloakroom bench

The ‘B range square frame cloakroom bench’ is our most popular freestanding bench seat, generally used around changing room perimeters with Vers-a-Rail WH - hat and coat hook rails mounted on the wall above.

The Seat for the B range single sided bench is 315mm deep x 450mm high with three Ash hardwood 70mm slats mounted 55mm apart on a steel support frame for extra peace of mind.

BD-12 Double depth freestanding cloakroom bench 1200mm

We also manufacture double depth ‘BD range cloakroom benches’ which are generally positioned in the centre of changing rooms / locker rooms or against the cloakroom wall if extra deep seating is required.

The Seats for the BD double sided benches are 590mm deep x 450mm high with five Ash hardwood 70mm slats mounted 60mm apart on a steel support frame for extra peace of mind.

Both cloakroom seating types are available in 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m lengths (and now 1m - 2m and with additional legs 2.5m - 3m).
And both are supplied part-assembled with just four bolts required to fix the steel leg frames to the steel seat frame and complete assembly (bolts, spanner, instructions inc).

BDSR  -  BD range Mesh Shoe Rack (to keep footwear off floor in wet situations).

  Special lengths - depths - heights, corner units and continuous runs (on request).
Pre Zinc Coating for additional rust protection in humid / wet areas (12.5% extra).
Different slat sizes, additional slats and one piece seats also available at extra cost.

If you are using benches in swimming pool changing rooms, specify:
* Electro Zinc Plated then Powder Coated bench frames +30% (for additional protection in wet / humid areas) - OR -
* Stainless steel bench frames (best for use in hospitals, cleanrooms, swimming pools & shower rooms)

For pools we would also recommend specifying:
* Plastic Wood (waterproof & rot-proof - ideal for seats in wet areas) - OR -
* Compact laminate tops and seats (mainly for the above applications or if one-piece colour seats needed)

If you wish for a more cost effective standard changing room furniture solution, specify:
* Ash Heartwood hardwood slats (darker colour, more intense grain - cheaper but limited availability)

Our most popular sizes of cloakroom seating / benches - coat rails are usually available ex stock (in blue only), for all other colours please allow up to 3 working weeks delivery.

Please Note:
Free UK Delivery on orders over £50 (excluding AB, BT, DD, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KW, PA, PH, ZE postcodes and Eire).
All benches are packed in semi-KD form but can be supplied fully assembled (subject to increased carriage).
Ash seat slats are supplied ready fitted to our unique steel seat support frames.
Every order is delivered complete with screwdriver / spanner*, instructions – as required - * Vers-a-rail only needs a screwdriver for assembly.
Floor fixings are not supplied, but all other screws / bolts required for assembly are.

Ash hardwood is sourced from FSC approved agents who only harvest timber from responsibly managed and sustainable forests.

All our products come with a 12 month guarantee subject to fair wear and tear, (although we have some benches still in regular use that are more than 20 years old). If you require longer warranties or experience any problems please get in touch and we will always do our best to help you.
