DS18X Double Sided Bench Without Top Shelf

The ‘DSX’ square frame freestanding double sided bench with hat / coat hooks is generally used in the middle of a cloakroom / changing room / locker room as an island forming separation aisles and to increase overall seating capacity. Like the Single sided version they also have their own double sided peg rail mounted at 1.6m high between the vertical supports of the end frames.

Supplied part-assembled with just twelve bolts required to join the upright frames to the steel seat support frame and peg rail to complete assembly and a few screws to fix the SAA coat hooks to the pre-drilled hardwood rail (bolts, spanner, screws, screwdriver and instructions included).

DS12 Double Sided Bench With Wood Top Shelf

The ‘DS’ freestanding double sided bench with hardwood top shelf and peg rail is a variation on the DSX bench with the addition of a 400mm deep Wood slat top shelf (with a steel support under-frame for added strength) fixed by four additional bolts to the top of the vertical end support frames.

DS15M Double Sided Bench With Mesh Top Shelf

The ‘DSM’ freestanding double sided bench with mesh top shelf and peg rail is a variation on the DSX bench with the addition of a 400mm deep Mesh top shelf (with a steel support frame for extra peace of mind) fixed by four bolts to the top of the vertical end support frames.

All island / aisle benches are available 1.2m long (12 hooks), 1.5m long (14 hooks), 1.8m long (16 hooks) as standard (and now 1m - 2m and with additional legs 2.5m - 3m).

Each measures 800mm deep x 1750mm high overall, with the seats either side of the bench measuring 315mm deep x 450mm high, each comprising of three Ash hardwood 70mm slats mounted 55mm apart mounted on a steel support frame.

ADJF  -  Adjustable feet (for situations where the floor may be uneven).
 

Extra hat and coat hooks fitted to accommodate more garments.
Special lengths - depths - heights, corner units and continuous runs (on request).
Pre Zinc Coating to provide additional rust protection in humid / wet areas (12.5% extra).
Different slat sizes, additional slats and one piece seats also available at extra cost.

If you are using benches in swimming pool changing rooms, specify:
* Electro Zinc Plated then Powder Coated bench frames +30% (for additional protection in wet / humid areas) - OR -
* Stainless steel bench frames (best for use in hospitals, cleanrooms, swimming pools & shower rooms)

For pools we would also recommend specifying:
* Plastic Wood (waterproof & rot-proof - ideal for seats in wet areas) - OR -
* Compact laminate tops and seats (mainly for the above applications or if one-piece colour seats needed)

If you wish for a more cost effective standard changing room furniture solution, specify:
* Ash Heartwood hardwood slats (darker colour, more intense grain - cheaper but limited availability)

All benches are packed in semi-KD form but can be supplied fully assembled (subject to increased carriage).
Ash seat slats are supplied ready fitted to our unique steel seat support frames.
Every order is delivered complete with screwdriver / spanner*, instructions – as required - * Vers-a-rail only needs a screwdriver for assembly.
Floor fixings are not supplied, but all other screws / bolts required for assembly are.

Ash hardwood is sourced from FSC approved agents who only harvest timber from responsibly managed and sustainable forests.

All our products come with a 12 month guarantee subject to fair wear and tear, (although we have some benches still in regular use that are more than 20 years old). If you require longer warranties or experience any problems please get in touch and we will always do our best to help you.
